No time pressure, every PT can be very different, you can try different builds and all. This game was marketed as "roguelite", but other roguelikes and roguelites handled difficulty way better. It crates a fake illusion of having a challenge. I like other challenges in Saga mode, such as light tower defense, Jotuns spawning and going for our village, temperatures management etc, but time pressure is just bad. It forces you to play the game in meta way, every playthrough is the same, but if you try to "suggest" it on official discord, you'll get stomped to hell for even saying that maybe it's not good at all. It has an identity crisis and drives away everyone in the process. The biggest problem is that players are forced to go fast which kills off non meta options, meanwhile the game does everything to hinder you and slow you down as you go. It all lends to a game that just doesn't feel good to play. However, actions get queued, dodges don't cancel attacks, enemies hit you through walls, you constantly get stuck on terrain, many attacks go not where your mouse is but where your character is pointing, and everything takes way too long. Meanwhile, combat is just tank and spank, only bosses are worth the effort to dodge. Because you're on the clock, you're pressed to use the same classes, weapons and runes that are the most powerful. Every run is identical with the same progression and objectives. Originally posted by RNG_Wizard:It's repetitive.
